  This is a unique dining setting adjacent to Summer Stock Theater. Menu is somewhat limited but hours of operation (except post show) are only for the couple of hours prior to a performance so the place is crowded, reservations needed, and the kitchen slammed for a very intense short period when the Bistro is open. Last evening, we arrived in time for our reservation and were immediately seated. Our wait staff team were quick to respond taking drink orders (which could not be filled because they had "just poured the last glass"...we were in the first seating of the evening). Brown and serve dinner rolls were brought cold and sticky right out of the fridge and had to be sent back to be warmed.
  
  Our appetizer of Calamari still had not arrived 35 minutes later when our wait person told us our "dinners would be right out". When we mentioned the appetizer it was immediately brought but was cold. Another warm plate was sent just as our meals were arriving. I have to say the quality of the salmon and scallop presentations was excellent.
  
  It took more than 20 minutes to get our credit card run and the bill paid after it was presented to us. Granted, the Bistro was only open for less than a week of this season when we visited. However, even though we regularly attend the theater there are other dining options that we will choose from in the future.
